During the breaks coffee, tea, juices, sandwiches and other snacks are available in our cafeteria.
OUR TEACHING METHOD
The key to progressive and effective learning with long lasting results is the principle of communication. From the very first day we put great emphasis on speaking freely in class. Students will learn how to use vocabulary and expressions in everyday situations.
SPANISH COURSES IN MALAGA AT SPRACHCAFFE MALAGA
On your first course day we will meet at 09:30 on our roof terrace where you will receive a brief introduction to our school and Malaga, providing information about our personal, location and activities in the respective week.
After the introduction, students who start in a beginner course with no previous knowledge will be introduced to their teachers and immediately start with their course. Everyone else will take a written and oral exam of about 45 minutes and then be grouped into courses according to the result.
At the end of the course you will receive a certificate stating the length and level of your course.
Spanish course types
We offer 2 types of courses; group tuition and private tuition.
● Our groups have a maximum of 10 students per class.
● Each lessons is 45 minutes long. ● Levels are set up according to the result of a placement test.
● Course material is lended to our students in class.
● After the course students will receive a certificate.

In teaching, the direct method is used, this means that Spanish is the language of instruction and the use of other languages is avoided as much as possible. Vocabulary and grammar are taught in context. Summaries of grammar and written or oral exercises are provided in our schoolbooks.
Students will have to prepare small oral lectures and presentations to put up for group discussion.
Our native Spanish speaking teachers have a university degree in Spanish philology. Their knowledge and experience in teaching foreign students guarantee top-quality training.

The Semi-Intensive course has
● 4 lessons per day (5 days/week)
(total of 20 lessons per week)
● The minimum duration is 2 weeks
The intensive course has
● 6 lessons per day (5 days/week)
(total of 30 lessons per week)
Private tuition is available with
● 2,4 or 6 lessons/day (5 days/week)
(total of 10,20 or 30 lessons/week)
This course is the best compromise between learning and free time. Four lessons daily guarantee effective learning, while the afternoon remains free for leisure activities.
The first 2 lessons usually focus on grammar and the second 2 lessons on conversation.
Designed for students who wish to learn more intensively and in depth.
The course is based upon the Semi-Intensive course; which means that participants take part in the Semi-Intensive course and will have another 2 extra lessons which normally focus on vocabulary.
Private language training is the fastest and most efficient way to learn a language or improve your language skills.
The content is determined by the student. Timetables are also flexible and can be agreed freely.
Please note that in the high season classes will be held in the afternoon as well.
The timetable of private tuition will be arranged with the student personally.

● Grammatical structures and vocabulary will give a basic idea of Spanish.
● Conversation focuses on how to converse in everyday situations.
● Reading is an important part of this level for it enables the student to hear and practice correct pronunciation.
● Grammatical structures are reinforced practically and orally.
● Indicative tenses, especially the past tenses are compared and studied in detail.
● Practical exercises such as informal conversation is used to improve comprehension.
● Conversation is one of the most important parts, students are encouraged to discuss topics in class.
● Subjunctive tenses are the main topic studied in grammar class.
● Expressions are taught to enrich vocabulary.
● Conversation focuses on articles taken from magazines which are used for further discussions and dialogues.
● Spanish movies and songs are used to get a better understanding of the Spanish culture.
● Grammatical exceptions as well as difficult grammatical details are taught.
● High level conversation and specialized vocabulary (e.g. business terms) are learnt.
● In all exercises the most important aspect is to speak and communicate in Spanish appropriately and correctly.
The aim in our C1 / C2 Level is to gain a proficiency level in Spanish, level C2 is very close to the level of a native speaker. All grammar, exceptions and standard to advanced vocabulary is assumed to be known.
The D.E.L.E. examinations (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) are the official diplomas of Spanish as a foreign language as recognized by the Spanish minister of Education and by the Institute of Cervantes in corporation with the University of Salamanca. This certificate is recognized and accredited internationally.
As a member of the A.E.E.A. (Asociación de Escuelas de Español de Andalucía) Sprachcaffe Malaga PLUS is entitled to prepare students for these exams.
