On the 1st day of your course our new students will meet on our roof terrace at 09:30 a.m. There they will receive a brief introduction to our school and Malaga, providing information about our personal, location and activities in the respective week.
After the introduction, students who start in a beginner course with no previous knowledge at all, will be introduced to their teachers and immediately start with their course. Everyone else will take a written and oral exam of about 45 minutes in order to determine their knowledge and then be placed into their courses according to the result. |
|
 |
Should you discover that the level determined on the first day does not reflect your knowledge do not hesitate to ask us to be placed into another group.
It is also possible to attend different levels in grammar and conversation. After the course all our students will automatically receive a standard course certificate stating the length of your course end level. It will NOT contain the percentage of classes attended nor a grade. |
| For those students who need a prove of their progress together with an attendance record we provide a special certificate at the end of the course. In order to achieve this certificate you must inform us BEFORE THE START of your course and also you will also have to pass an exam at the end of your stay. |

|
The key to progressive and effective learning with long-lasting results is the principle of communication, so from the very first day on there is great emphasis on speaking freely. The students learn the practical side of the language and how to use the vocabulary and expressions in everyday speech.
The individual needs and preferences of each student are also taken into account. |
 |
As a rule our classes are made up of a maximum of 8 people. Communication in the broadest sense means to take part and to be involved with the experiences of others.
We have developed and consistently updated a method over the years, which has proven to be effective in realistic situations. We transform the stressful learning situation as quickly as possible into a spontaneous and creative learning experience. One aspect of communication is the wish to be involved in the experiences of others and this desire is the motivation for success. In teaching, the direct method is used, this means that Spanish is the language of instruction and the use of other languages is avoided as much as possible. The vocabulary and grammar are taught in context. Summaries of grammar and written or oral exercises are provided in our schoolbooks, which are designed by our teachers.
Much emphasis is put on the speaking ability of the students. Students will have to prepare small oral lectures and presentations to put up for group discussions. In addition audio and video equipment, songs, newspapers, magazines and language games are used to incorporate the many different ways a language can be used. |

Our native-speaking teachers all have a university degree in Spanish philology. Their knowledge and experience in teaching foreign students guarantee top-quality training.
They do not regard their task only as a job. Even after the lessons have finished, these instructors are available to give advice and assistance with language difficulties and also to deal with questions concerning local, cultural and sporting events. In addition, they may even spend their free time with our guests. |
Our school offers 2 types of courses: Group tuition and Individual tuition.
Our groups have a maximum of 8 students per class, each lessons is 45 minutes long.
After the course every participant receives
a certificate from the school. |
Group tuition - Standard course - 4 lessons á 45 minutes per day (four lessons per day, 5 days a week) This is the best compromise between learning and free time. 4 lessons daily guarantee effective learning, while the morning or afternoon remains free for leisure activities. The standard course is at least 2 weeks long.
Group tuition - Intensive course - 6 lessons á 45 minutes per day (six lessons per day, 5 days a week) If you want to learn more intensively and in depth, an intensive course is your best option. This course is based upon a standard course, i.e. the participants take part in the standard course class and afterwards they learn for another 2 academic hours. |
Individual tuition
One-to-one language training is the quickest and most intensive way to learn a language or improve your language skills. The format of the lessons is determined by the needs and desires of the student. Even the times of the lessons are flexible.
We offer individual courses of either 2, 4 or 6 lessons of 45 minutes daily. All aspects of the language are taught in the most effective way by foccussing on the student’s individual needs. |
Our timetable looks like this:
- Standard Course (4 lessons/day from 9:30 - 13:30 and* 17:00 - 21:00) ,
- Intensive Course (6 lessons/day from 8:30 - 14:30 )
* in the high and sometimes in the mid season classes will be held in the afternoon as well.
After every lesson of 45 minutes we have a 10 minute break. Our main break of 30 minutes is held from 11:15 to 11:45 (in the afternoon from 18:45 to 19:15). Before the main half hour break, lessons concentrate on grammar and afterwards on conversation.
